Most safes ship free via curbside freight delivery. Depending on the weight and your setup, you may want to add liftgate or inside placement services.

Included with most safes. Your safe is delivered to the curb at your address via freight carrier. You'll need a way to move it from there — most customers use a hand truck or dolly.

Liftgate Service

The driver uses a hydraulic liftgate to lower the safe from the truck to ground level. Available for safes up to 1,500 lbs. For safes over 1,500 lbs, a loading dock or forklift is required to offload from the truck.

Threshold Delivery

The carrier brings the safe to the first dry area of your home or business — typically just inside the garage or front door. Does not include placement in a specific room.

White-Glove Inside Placement

Professional movers bring the safe inside and place it in the room of your choice. Includes uncrating, debris removal, and basic positioning. Does not include bolting. Available in select areas — after your purchase, contact us and we'll connect you with a vetted partner in your area.

Delivery FAQs

How long does delivery take?

Timelines vary by brand. For AMSEC and Gardall safes, processing is typically 2–3 business days; for safes shipped directly from other manufacturers, processing is 3–5 business days. Freight delivery takes 3–5 business days after shipment. Special-order safes may take up to 40 business days — if your order exceeds that window, we'll contact you directly. You'll receive tracking information once your order ships.

Will the driver call before delivery?

Yes. Freight carriers will call to schedule a delivery window. You or someone at the delivery address must be present to accept the shipment and sign for it.

What if my safe arrives damaged?

Inspect the packaging before signing. If you see damage, note it on the delivery receipt and contact us immediately. We'll arrange a replacement or repair at no cost to you.

Do you deliver to apartments or upstairs?

Freight carriers deliver to ground level only. For upstairs or apartment delivery, we recommend white-glove inside placement. Contact us to discuss options for your situation.

Can you bolt down my safe?

Bolting is not included in any delivery option. Most safes come with hardware and instructions for bolting. We recommend hiring a local locksmith or handyman, or contact us for referrals in your area.

Do you ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or outside the US?

We ship to all 50 states. Alaska, Hawaii, and remote areas may have additional shipping charges. International shipping is not available at this time. Contact us for a shipping quote.
