The front slot wins because cash moves horizontally. Registers, counters, and drawer tills all sit at the same height as a face-mounted slot, so drops happen in one motion without opening anything. Staff deposit, the door stays shut, and a manager with the key empties it on schedule.
Anti-fish baffling is the feature to insist on. Every model here uses a saw-tooth baffle behind the slot; wire, tape, and coat-hanger retrieval attempts shred against it. Cheaper unbaffled boxes exist in the world. None of them are in this lineup.
